I am a super light sleeper so Mack’s pillow soft ear plugs and a sleep mask are my best friend in the wee hours. I finally decided that my Swissair mask and Kenya airways mask were not sexy enough for the bedroom so I bought this cute hand made sleep mask from BibBon on Etsy the other day. I am a sleeping beauty now. Mmmhh…although I have an addiction to the earplugs.
Man I struggle to understand the structure of my blog..I mean the technology of it and I have total Dooce envy who just had an article written about her blog in the NY Times ! She has awesome dogs Chuck and Coco, awesome taste and flair and a life that allows her and her husband to work from home and make kick-ass money from advertisers. So far this pathetic messy blog averages $0.50 in revenue per day from Adsense (totally dodgy ads about Russian girls, bizarre face cream and losing 10lbs in a week). Freedomwife is like a microscopic ugly failure of a toad next to Heather Armstrong’s glittery succesful Comet like blog. Maybe if I had a new husband to fix my blog? Nah I like my husband (today).
So a few posts ago I mentioned I was recycling part of my wardrobe out on Ebay. Well I sold for $450.00 in the last month. It doesn’t pay for Botox but it pays for a massage, dinner, vodka martinis, lip-fusion lip-gloss and possibly a Revolve clothing shopping spree.
So I sold my Da-nang Koi fish pants for $30.00. My James jeans for $35.00. Surprisingly I even sold these horrible adidas black socks for $2.00 (anything to get rid of them). Most surprisingly I sold some used adidas shoes, adidas t-shirts and a cop. copine dress.
It is so gratifying to send all this crap out and get money for it on paypal and it’s pretty cool to watch the bidding and see which items draws the most interest.
This week I am selling a Peak Performance polo, 10 pregnancy test strips (pee sticks) and a bridal bustier that I bought on Ebay and immediately hated when it took me 15 minutes to hook the eye hooks and get it on.
The best undies ever are Hanky Panky thongs that I always buy on Ebay. You can get them for as little as $12.00 while in real life they are $22.00. These fab itsy-bitsy Lacy thongs are one size fits all and seriously are the best, most comfortable underwear I’ve ever bought. If you don’t believe me I bet you’ll believe Paris Hilton or the Gossip Girls…all wearing the same landing gear.
I just received these fab Theory ‘Max C - Stretch Canvas’ Trousers in the post! I paid $175 from Tabloid Couture on Ebay. They fit so well it is scary. They are stretchy in the right places and clingy in the right places. I definitely recommend Theory couture for silhouette flattery. Tabloid Couture provided prompt service and delivery..check out all the other goodies they carry like Cosabella and Nanette Lapore. xxo
