Who Buys This?

As a totally unashamed Ebay addict I can confess to hours of wasted time browsing the virtual aisles of the largest most amazing shop in the world. So after watching an episode of weeds (which will make you realise that it is not just your life that is so tragically pathetic) I was reminded by Kevin Nealon just how important it is to have a Sharpie pen and that I really need lots of them. SO I searched for them on Ebay and  you would be amazed at how many turquoise Sharpie pens are available.

On a more bewildered note, I just do not understand who buys a HOME-MADE AUTOMATIC  Beer Maker for $105? Maybe if you are a member of a fraternity?but really a keg  or a 6 pack is more efficient and has the added value of being instantly satisfying. And you just know it will be fun for about 2 minutes and then you will figure out that it’s too complicated and too messy to use. Even then, if you had the patience to figure it out, where would you put it if you live anywhere else but college housing?

I also find it fascinating why people don’t sell home made soup on Ebay. After making large batches you could freeze ziplock bags full of soup and send them out as ordered by overnight shipping. It’s a money maker and you know it.

I love starting a sentence with “And”…it’s so wrong. And there is a draft in this house and I can’t find where it is coming from!

How Did We Survive Before Ebay?

I just love the fact that on Ebay I can satisfy my cravings for gelatinous candy, expensive eye cream  and anything  John Derian. I have bought Ipods, DVDs, loads of lipgloss, track pants, Junk Food t-shirts, patagucci jackets and every pair of running shoes I’ve owned in the past 4 years. Right now I’m eyeing a newly listed pushup  wonderbra (I’ve never owned a wonderbra before)…ok so now you know I have really small tatas. I’m also after a gently used  3rd generation ipod that is currently listed for USD$20.50 and the best thing about all of this is that both items are from the same seller.
